Charities

Please consider donating to or supporting women's organizations that work to help women and children in need around the world.

Each charity listed includes references to its legitimacy.

All charities are ones I have found and have chosen to include here completely independently, in the pursuit of helping women.

Last updated:

  • Myna Mahila Foundation (here)
    • The Myna Mahila Foundation focuses on helping women by providing employment and improving menstrual education in India.
    • Mentioned by or partnered with: The British Royal Family, Stanford University, Duke University (the person who wrote the article for Duke does refer to women using "menstruators," but the Myna Mahila website only ever refers to women and girls).
  • The Femicide Census (here)
  • The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (here)
    • The Palestine Children's Relief Fund provides medical supplies and training to Palestinian doctors and hospitals, while also treating children in need of medical help.
    • Mentioned by or partnered with: Jimmy Carter, CNN, United Nations.
  • African Child Trust (here)
    • The African Child Trust works with children in poverty and widows in several african countries, and focuses on empowering woman-led households in rural areas where the lack of a husband can severely impact the life of a woman and her children.
    • Mentioned by or partnered with: Charity Comission for England and Wales (which is the gov register, it just shows their expendatures, you can evaluate for yourself here), Menstrual Hygiene Day (an organization that promotes education around menstruation and menstrual hygiene).
    • There's not too much stuff out there about them, but I like that they specifically were working with widows.

If there is a women's charity or cause that you would like to see listed, please either submit it via the submissions page (best) or via antiwomanbrands@proton.me (works as well, it's just much easier for me to check the submissions site).
